Geotextile membranes are artificial fabrics that have a variety of uses in the construction industry. These applications include, but are not restricted to; filtration/drainage, construction of all weather riding arenas, ground stablistation and separation, coastal/river/flood protection works, landfill and contaminated land, railways, structural waterproofing protection, water/sludge containment, weed control and tree root protection.
There are two main classes of geotextile membranes, permeable and non permeable. And in each category are a range of different types of geotextile to choose from to meet the needs of your specific application.
